I was driving through a desolate stretch of Iceland when this volcano appeared on the horizon, rising quietly from the frozen lava fields like a sleeping giant. There was no one else around—just wind, snow, and that deep arctic blue that wraps the landscape in stillness.
The scene stopped me in my tracks. I pulled over, stepped out into the cold, and wandered a few meters from the road. The textures of snow and volcanic rock layered beneath the dramatic sky created a frame I couldn't ignore.
