Behind the Camera — Impressionist Birds

I took this photograph early in the morning on the Alameda shoreline. As a flock of birds moved across the water, I kept shooting, taking hundreds of frames. The reflections and the position of the birds changed from one shot to the next.

This is the frame that stayed with me — a photograph that feels more like a painting than a picture.
