Morocco in Layers
Morocco in Layers is a fine art photography collection I created during a ten-day road trip through Morocco, photographing places like Ouarzazate, Merzouga, the Sahara Desert, Ait Ben Haddou, the High Atlas, Marrakech, Casablanca, Fez, Chefchaouen, and Tangier. What interested me most was not just the destination itself, but the contrast within it: the calm of the desert dunes, the texture of ancient walls, the chaos of the medinas, the geometry of Moroccan architecture, and the blue streets that at times felt almost unreal.
This series brings together Morocco photography prints shaped by color, texture, light, and composition. From Sahara desert landscapes and Ait Ben Haddou architecture to the narrow streets of Chefchaouen and the visual energy of Fez and Marrakech, the collection moves between quiet scenes and layered urban moments. Some images are minimal and graphic, others are fuller and more atmospheric, but all of them are connected by the same visual thread: earth tones, deep blue, strong light, and a sense of place that feels raw and real.
More than a travel record, Morocco in Layers is a collection of fine art travel photography prints designed as wall art for home, office, or hospitality spaces. These photographs explore the visual identity of Morocco through desert photography, Moroccan architecture, blue city streets, kasbahs, medinas, and landscape details, creating pieces that work both as personal travel imagery and as modern interior decor.
