Selected for exhibition — Global Art League 2025, Montreal

Wild Nature captures waves breaking against dark volcanic rock on Iceland’s Atlantic coast. Deep red and black tones in the shoreline contrast with the white spray and the sky above.

Behind the Camera — Wild Nature

I photographed Wild Nature on Iceland’s coast, where the waves were breaking against jagged volcanic formations. What caught my attention was the color of the rock — deep reds and blacks — and how it looked against the moving water.

I waited for the spray to rise alongside the cliffs before taking this frame. That meeting of rock and water was what I wanted to capture.
